Biography

I was born in 1987 and spent my early years in Rota, Spain, where my family relocated in 1991. In 1997, my father launched a software engineering business that later acquired and rebranded Rota Magazine into OnRota Magazine. As a kid, I found myself drawn to the creative energy of the magazine’s design team. After school, I’d spend hours learning programs like Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, Flash, Dreamweaver, and HTML. Without realizing it, I was receiving a hands-on creative education that would leave a lasting imprint on my life and fuel a quiet but enduring passion for design and technology.

When the business closed in 2004, we moved to Bakersfield, California. The following year, I joined the U.S. Navy and served for the next 15 years. While my career was focused on service, design never left me. I continued to create flyers, posters, and t-shirts for friends, family, and small projects whenever I had the chance. Design was something that kept me grounded, something that always felt natural, almost like a second language. It took time, but eventually I realized it wasn’t just a hobby; it was a part of me I needed to take seriously.

That realization became action in 2020 when I decided to officially start a graphic design business. Two years later, I rebranded it as Eleana Marketing Solutions LLC, a name that would evolve along with me. But more importantly, I made the decision to pursue a degree in Digital Media Design at National University to deepen my skills and legitimize my experience. I wanted to do more than just create. I wanted to lead, grow, and build something lasting. In 2025, I will graduate with my bachelor's degree, marking the beginning of a new chapter, not just in my career, but in a journey that had quietly been unfolding since those afternoons in a magazine office in southern Spain.
